Job Summary Job SummaryStarting Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 /year PLUS $5,000 Sign-on Bonus! As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech therapy services to designated students according to diagnoses and client needs to achieve speech therapy goals and improve overall speech functioning. This includes but is not limited to direct instruction prescriptive evaluation, consulting with school staff, parents or guardians, and representatives from the home school district, writing IEP goals and interventions, monitoring student’s progress toward goals and attending IEP meetings.
View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications• Master's degree or higher in speech pathology or a closely related field of study. • Currently licensed or in the process of obtaining a state speech language pathology (SLP) credential. • Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with autism related disabilities and emotional disturbance. • Proven success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for students with diverse needs. • Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals. • Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability. • Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.
