Logan Health Rehabilitation Whitefish is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient therapy team. This PRN position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across the lifespan—from pediatrics to geriatrics—treating a range of conditions including brain injury, stroke, autism, speech delay, Down syndrome, and Parkinson’s.
In this role, you'll develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Regularly scheduled shifts may be available, with potential for part-time or full-time status based on caseload growth.

Minimum Qualifications
Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Montana Speech-Language Pathology license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers (AED) – required or must obtain within 6 months
2+ years of experience in a relevant clinical setting preferred
Reliable internet connection for daily documentation and communication
Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record (if applicable to role)
Personal vehicle meeting state liability insurance requirements for business use
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new software systems
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
Apply clinical skills consistent with licensure and current best practices
Communicate and delegate therapy services effectively within the care team
Provide treatment in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and protocols
Complete patient admissions, discharge summaries, and daily progress notes
Set measurable patient goals and adjust plans based on ongoing assessments
Ensure timely and accurate documentation per regulatory and payer guidelines
Participate in department and community-based initiatives to enhance rehab services
Meet established productivity standards and maintain equipment appropriately
Uphold professional standards in Speech-Language Pathology and carry out provider orders
Respect and support patient diversity, privacy, and confidentiality
Notify the care team of any significant changes in patient condition
Maintain consistent, reliable attendance as scheduled

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
