We're a team of dedicated professionals who are essential partners in detecting, diagnosing, and monitoring various diseases and conditions. *How you’ll contribute* A Specimen Processor, who excels in this role: · Works closely with laboratory personnel, supervisory personnel, and pathologists. Frequent contact with nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel. · Responsible for the performance of routine computer operations including, but not limited to ordering laboratory tests, data input (patient demographics, and physician information), and output. Accountable for accurate data entry and proper delivery of specimens, filing of reports, and related data. · Gathers, organizes, enters, transfers, deletes, and delivers all pertinent requests, reports and materials, including laboratory testing. · Specimen processing – from ordering generated on the floor to final reports delivered to physicians. · Maintain adequate use of supplies. ** *Why join us* We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include · Fast, accurate typing, computer data entry experience. · 1 year experience in a clinical office setting or other healthcare related facility.
