Specimen Packaging Technician
Job Title: Specimen Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Specimen Technician responsible for pulling samples for a variety of customers, picking them, scanning them, and registering them into the system.

Responsibilities

Pull samples for a diverse range of customers.Pick and pack samples accurately.Scan samples into the system for registration.Maintain inventory control and quality standards.Label samples appropriately and efficiently.

Essential Skills

Experience in specimen processing and data entry.Proficiency in picking, packing, sorting, registering, labeling, and scanning.High school diploma required.Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in inventory management and logistics.Familiarity with quality control processes.

Work Environment

The position requires working the 3rd shift from Monday to Friday, 9pm to 5:30am. The dress code mandates that nails must not protrude through latex gloves to maintain the effectiveness of PPE. Employees can wear t-shirts with non-offensive writing, covered by a lab coat in the lab. Long pants without tears, no exposed ankles, and closed-toe shoes are required. Sweatpants are not allowed, and health and safety are assessing the use of yoga pants and leggings, which may be banned soon. The environment offers a full gym, cafeteria, and team-building activities such as food trucks and sundae days.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.
