Contract Duration: 24 Months **Required Skills & Experience** + 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education. + 5+ years of full stack engineering + Angular + Core Java + SQL Querying + Programming + Troubleshooting + Roadmapping **Desired Skills & Experience** + Agile + Banking experience **What You Will Be Doing** + Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. + Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. + Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. + Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. + Perform in the high level technical and analytics role as an individual contributor developing web applications in Angular and Java. + Be able to write Java batch applications that perform well. + Write adequate unit tests for their code. + Write code that is free from common bugs (i.e. SQL injection) and can pass automated code scans. + Write high quality code in the Java language using object-oriented principals and design patterns as appropriate. + Create/modify SQL Server database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc) as needed. + Work with large data sets requiring attention to computational efficiency, parallelism, and scalability. + Work as a Team Engineer in an Agile team.
