Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (1 rotating weekend per every 5)

Reports to: Clinical Nutrition Manager, Food Services Director, VP of Support Services

Position Purpose:

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Specialty Dietitian to join our dynamic Food and Nutrition Patients team. In this vital role, you will manage the nutrition care of critically ill patients, including those requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition support. You will serve as a clinical nutrition expert, providing guidance and support to physicians, staff, and patient families to ensure optimal nutritional outcomes.

What You Will Do:

Provide expert nutrition care for critically ill patients, including the management of artificial nutrition supportCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams through participation in patient rounds and performance improvement initiativesServe as a resource for nutrition support education to medical staff, patients, and familiesIntegrate clinical data from various disciplines to create comprehensive, individualized nutrition plansMaintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions and documentation

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition from an accredited institutionCertified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) through NBNSCActive registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)Licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure in the state of Maryland (including 15 CE hours annually)Minimum 1 year of experience in nutrition supportStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across care teamsAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Pay rate: $32.12 - $48.18

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
