We are looking for a Speciality Gases Product Specialist to join our Merchant Fabrication Team based in Worcester, England (United Kingdom).

As our Speciality Gases Product Specialist, you will 

Make a key contribution to a major improvement project in Speciality Gases*

*The project’s aim is to convert all our calibration mixtures from non-batch managed to batch managed and serialised products. This project is time consuming and detail oriented. It requires “zobbing” and re-creating of ‘000s of calibration mixtures. However, it shall deliver

1) Products that are compliant to ISO6141. This standard, published in 2015, specifies the minimum requirements for certificates for calibration gas mixtures, ensuring quality and reliability in gas analysis. Our non-BMS calibration mixes do not comply. Many of our customers require compliant certificates, particularly those in the pharma & electronics sectors.

2) Calibration certificates compliant to ISO6141 via email (at point of delivery) or via MyAirProducts reducing costs and improving certificate quality.

3) The ability to produce calibration mixtures in batches using ISO 6142-2 (2024) reducing our operational costs. This capability will become more powerful as we drive mixture sales to a standard applications’ focussed product range promoted via our speciality gas catalogues.

4) A re-set of our cylinder valve policy in the UKI.  This will align our valve selections to the UKI market and eliminate inconsistencies that were introduced with the acquisition of CryoServices – enhancing sales efficiency, customer experience & safety.

As the Speciality Gases Product Specialist, you already are or have

An engineering degree Previous proven experience in an manufacturing or engineering positionBasic understanding of speciality gases and their useBasic knowledge of the respective standardsExcellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are a requirement.Self-motivated and a high degree of personal accountability for results. Strong commitment to safety and compliance Good command of English
