**Job Description** **Position Summary** Performs trade area analysis for the Research Department, conducting regular data maintenance and integrity checks. Gathers, processes, uploads and maintains statistical data tables in Arc (ArcGis), ensuring accuracy acessibility and usability of data. Conducts field visits with Real Estate to ensure trade area delineation integrity, and on-the-ground availability of relevant market data. Supports consolidation and standardization of business intelligence data. Supports recurring research analyses and conducts ad-hoc research/financial analysis as required by supervisors. **Position Responsibilities:** + Performs desk and field trade area analysis for the Research Department. Delineates Trade Areas independently reporting to Research Manager. Modifies delineation and projection of trade areas when on-the-ground conditions change. Supports Research Manager in managing the market planning process. + Manage Potential Trade Area (PTA) and site caseload of the Northern half of Mexico. Organizes review meetings with Real Estate to refresh TA statuses, prioritize site submissions and plan presentation dates. Prepares research portion of site pre-approval and approval presentations. + Gathers, processes, uploads and maintains statistical data tables in Arc (ArcGis). Ensures that all data is acessible, usable and accurate. Automates data processing. Collaborates with analysts from other functional areas to integrate processes and promote standardization of best practices. + Supports recurring analyses such as market saturation/cannibalization, peer group reviews and market share/competition. Automates data collection steps in recurring analyses. Conducts ad-hoc research/financial analysis as required by the International Research Manager. + Uses mapping applications to present and break down statistics and scenarios in internal team reviews. Improves usage of Arc View functionality in internal and external store development reviews. **Position Requirements:** + Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. + Area of Study: Statistics, Geography, Business, Economics, Computer Science. + Years of Experience: Three to five years. + Type of Experience: ArcGis, Applications of GeoSpatial Technology (GIS), Retail, Real Estate Research, Data Analysis. **About Autozone** Since opening our first store in 1979, AutoZone has grown into a leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories across the Americas.
