Typically handles inquiries of moderate scope and complexity. The process specialist researches, analyzes, and recommends improvements to an organization's business processes in order to improve overall organization performance. The position has a direct impact on the direct work group/team, providing direction and advice to co-workers. Currently, 3M is deploying ERP (SAP) to the subsidiaries, and you would be requested to work in both SAP countries and Legacy system countries during transition period. The position will report to Cash Application Team Manager and work as a liaison with countries and primary contact from our internal client on subject matter. 1. Implementing global processes. 2. Regularly interacting with the global team. 3. Executing global decisions regarding process changes and updating relevant documentation. 4. Leading global projects aimed at process improvement. 5. Representing the team in global process forums. 6. Updating process documentation (SOPs) and maintaining relevant records. 7. Providing process training to the team. 8. Acting as the first point of contact for all types of process questions. 9. Offering process induction and certification for new employees. 10. Conducting process mapping. 11. Supporting automation projects. 12. Actively engaging in or leading transitions, including testing, identification, and closing process gaps. 13. Actively participating in the Lean/Continues Improvement program. 14. Fostering compliance with the GFS framework. 15. Applying 3M ethical guidelines in everyday work. 16. Driving the efficiency of GSC SOX controls. 17. Executing global and regional process improvement projects in cooperation with other GSCs and local finance and CIR teams. 18. Coordinating visits from internal and external stakeholders while actively representing the department. 19. Collaborating closely with the IT team to implement automation solutions. 20. Supporting the Tower Management with selected tasks. 21. Leading and developing complex remittances, creating rules, and conducting testing in Serrala.
