Job Summary:
This position is responsible for improving the productivity of the Lift Operations team, as well as the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs. The trainer assesses departmental developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. Helps to ensure that the department is complying with all best practice, ANSI and company policies

Job Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor training programs for lift operations. Supervise technical training for staff. Conduct orientation/training sessions. Create training materials. Develop multimedia visual aids and presentations. Create testing and evaluation processes. Evaluate training needs of the department Provide the department with classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, and workshops. Supervise training assistants. Provide performance feedback. Conduct continuing education training both on hill and in classroom. Provide leadership development education for the frontline Operators becoming Leads. Build solid cross-functional relationships with the departments that lift operations works with most closely. Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management. Assist with the development of strategic plans. Assist Lift Operations Admin Asst. with hiring and onboarding needs. Assist with on hill supervisory needs as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Previous Lift Operations or Lift Maintenance Experience, minimum of 3 years Supervisory Experience, minimum of 1 year Valid Driver’s License without restrictions Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Must be able to fluently read, write and understand English Ability to ski or snowboard at a level 6 ability if necessary Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to lift 50 lbs. Previous team training experience
The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $23.48/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
