What We'll Bring:
Product Owner - Dynamics of the RoleTransUnion Global Consumer Operations systems are utilized to ensure servicing of consumer needs both from a product and compliance perspective. We have an opportunity for a Global Consumer Operations Product Owner who will be part of our operations team. You will work with internal stakeholders, and the product and development teams to build and execute implementation plans for new features and products. Your understanding of the operations processes, product, ability to work with technical and non-technical staff, and enthusiasm in planning, communicating, and tracking a tactical approach to meet the team’s commitments will be keys to your success.

How you will contribute:
Collaborate cross functionally with Product Managers and business stakeholders to refine the Program Increment (PI) feature backlog, support strategic planning efforts, and execute tactical activities.Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and decompose features into user stories.Maintain and prioritize the user story backlog and work with development, architecture/IT, and stakeholder teams to refine user stories to meet the Definition of Ready.Provide guidance and direction to the technology teams during the development cycle and participate in all scrum ceremonies. Be available and ready to make quick, well informed team-level decisions on behalf of stakeholders and the business.Perform and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, validate if user stories meet the Definition of Done, and accept stories as ‘Done’.Work with the scrum team to ensure all tasks are completed and the committed PI objectives are achieved.Work with Product Managers/Owners to plan and execute the launch of new products and significant features, taking into consideration any interdependenciesTriage feedback and work to resolve any issues arising from newly released products and features.Be a resource with respect to product features and benefits.Provide timely and accurate updates to project leadership and client(s)

Requires bachelor degree or equivalent experienceRequires at least 2+ years of experience in product ownership, ideally in a technical or operations process development settingRequires strong business analysis and business systems analysis skillsRequires excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to bridge business and technical environments, and ability to build professional relationshipsMust be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible formAbility to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects with critical timelinesAbility to drive consensus among stakeholders with varying viewpoints, incentives, expertise, and seniorityExperience with gathering requirements and performing root cause analysisExperience with agile methods preferredAbility to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data preferredExperience in the Agile Operating Model preferred
