We are looking for a Specialist II Strategic Initiatives to join our team. In this role you will work as a business liaison to coordinate and lead the development of key content for multiple projects and create high-quality reports, and presentations that effectively communicate results and strategic insights to all levels of the organization.

What You Will Do:
Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring organizational goal alignment and timely delivery of high-priority initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to gather and synthesize large amounts of information with a strategic lens.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including status reports, dashboards, and presentations to support informed decision-making and project results.
Manage timelines and priorities to deliver results, often under tight deadlines and working with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Fosters strong relationships and effectively collaborates with team members at all levels of the organization.
Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams to develop and deliver strategic plans and drive results.
Gather and interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives by developing and maintaining reports to track initiative progress and outcomes.
Addressing inquiries and ensuring effective communication and information flow among all stakeholders.
Handling confidential and sensitive information, and requires a strong ability to manage information with discretion and integrity.
Who You Are:
Related university degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field and seven (7) or more years of directly related experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.
Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Exceptional written communication experience with the ability to convey complex information.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Broad utility business knowledge and experience is a definite asset, especially Operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, and development of presentations.
Able to manage multiple priorities under constant deadline pressure.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
Strong results oriented and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to influence an agreed / approved outcome.
Preferred (An Asset):
7-10 years of experience working in Operations or Engineering would be an asset.
3-5 years of experience in executive reporting, strategic analysis, or comparable type of work.
Understanding of change management approaches and a successful track record of implementing internal change initiatives.
Working Conditions:
Typical office environment with 15-20% business travel required.
