Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong experience in backend development using Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and databases such as Sybase and DB2. Knowledge of messaging systems like MQ or Kafka is required, and familiarity with KDB is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java-based applications

Work with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks for building microservices

Develop and optimize SQL queries for Sybase and DB2 databases

Integrate and manage messaging systems like MQ or Kafka

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system design and integration

Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting

Document technical designs and processes

Required Skills:

Strong programming experience in Java

Proficiency with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks

Solid experience with relational databases – Sybase and DB2

Working knowledge of MQ and/or Kafka

Good understanding of microservices architecture

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience or knowledge in KDB

Financial services or banking domain experience
