Role Proficiency:

JD – Data Lead We are looking for an experienced Data Lead to oversee and manage data migration projects, ensuring smooth and accurate transfer of data between systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data migration activities including planning, extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and migration scope. 

• Design and implement data migration strategies, processes, and best practices.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and quality throughout migration.

• Manage timelines, risks, and resource allocation for migration projects.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

• Prepare detailed documentation and reports related to migration processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably in [industry/domain].

• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).

• Expertise in SQL and scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) for data manipulation.

• Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or others.

• Understanding of data quality, data governance, and data validation techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong project management and communication skills.

• Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
