Specialist - Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a talented finance professional to join our Mercer Operations & Technology (O&T) Fiinance team at an exciting time for our Central O&T FP&A team as we continue to develop and innovate the way in which we report and ultimately support the wider Mercer business. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the Arcos Bosques office.

As a Specialist Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial decision-making processes. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization, providing insights and analysis that drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

We will count on you to:

Partner with Mercer Operations & Technology finance team to ensure that reporting timelines are adhered to, whilst constructively challenging Forecasts and Budgets to ensure that they remain commercially viablePrepare the Mercer O&T Forecast and Budget, by organising and coordinating with the Mercer O&T finance team to collate the required data. Subsequently presenting these to the Mercer O&T Finance Director during routine financial cyclesManage the Mercer O&T Allocation process, ensuring that Mercer Businesses receive O&T allocations in a clearly communicated and timely mannerCreate and deliver reports to management on both a regular and ad hoc basisManage and hold financial accountability for the Mercer O&T Centre of Excellence P&LsSupport of specific projects, amongst these are a global efficiency program and the utilisation of PowerBI as the tool to provide our Mercer Leadership Team with actionable insight into the organisationAdditionally, we would like a change and growth mindset, a passion for innovation and comfort in managing conversations that require us to continually challenge and improve existing processes and systems.Participate in strategic projects & initiatives.

What you need to have:

5+ years of experience in the FP&A process and multicultural relationships with executive roles, particularly in the US, Mexico, India, and the UKGood understanding of financial reporting & analysis, statistical and finance analytics and ability to present such information visually. Relevant business experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar area.Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Oracle and Essbase is preferredProficiency in Advanced EnglishA change and growth mindset, a passion for innovation and comfort in managing conversations that require us to continually challenge and improve existing processes and systems
