The Role

We are looking for a creative and organized Specialist to support the execution of high-impact events across Netflix. This role will support events across multiple teams, including Ads Marketing, Awards, and Publicity. Sometimes working under the guidance of event leads and sometimes leading independently on scaled events, you’ll collaborate across departments and contribute to events that reflect the innovation and quality of Netflix campaigns.

You should be passionate about storytelling, detail-oriented, and energized by the fast-paced world of entertainment marketing. This role blends creativity, logistics, and teamwork — perfect for someone eager to grow in the events space.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading creative event conceptualization and building strategic plans around launch goals.

Partnering with internal teams (Publicity, Awards, Ads, Marketing, Photo & AV Studio, Social, etc.) to align and collaborate on execution.

Serving as the “informed captain” of events — proactively gathering feedback, anticipating challenges, and ensuring alignment.

Managing end-to-end event production, including budgeting, timelines, and vendor coordination.

Overseeing all elements of execution, from venue sourcing and design to guest experience and post-event recaps.

Leading relationships with agencies and external partners to maintain high-quality delivery.

Adapting event strategies across in-person, hybrid, or virtual formats — leveraging the latest tools and tech.

Delivering events that are consumer-centric, on-brand, and innovative.

Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in event planning, production, or experiential marketing (entertainment industry experience is a plus).

Experience supporting live and/or virtual events of varying sizes.

Clear and concise communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

U.S.-based, with some travel expected for on-site support.

Proactive and solutions-oriented — someone who takes initiative and asks smart questions.

Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities.

Able to communicate clearly via email, decks, in-person, and over Zoom.

Comfortable supporting events that may occur outside of standard business hours.

Curious, creative, and excited about entertainment 

Familiar with or eager to learn Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other project tools.

Confident working with external vendors and representing Netflix values and tone.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000-$150,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs.  Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off.
