Essential Functions:
Roles & Responsibilities will include though not limited to the following:
Support training events and assists instructors as needed. Assists training developer with course developmentBuilds, aligns, and qualifies precision opto-mechanical assemblies and systems. Disassemble and re-assembles subassemblies and systems down to piece-part level Provide supporting programs with a full range services to maximize operational life and mission continuity through cost-efficient analysis and management of end-of-life parts and parts life extension programConduct asset visibility, and obsolescence mitigation for program system sustainment materialInterface daily with IPTL, system engineers, system integrators, and technical trainersContinuously look for and implement mechanisms to reduce and streamline the logistics footprint within the Proprietary business segmentPerformed asset and equipment audits on customer and company owned propertyIdentify, plan, resource, and acquire packaging/preservation, handling, storage and transportation (PHST) requirements to maximize availability and usability of the materiel to include support items whenever they are needed for training or missionMonitor and track the shipment of repairable products needing maintenance to and from customer sites, the depot, and possibly OEMsProvide PHS&T support of assigned systems and spare partsApply knowledge of PHST policies and procedures to manage a system's life cycle support requirementsQualifications:
