What you'll be doing

As a CIBC Closing Specialist, you will provide invaluable support and customer service to the mortgage sales force; contribute towards identifying additional client needs (Cross sell opportunities). Your current mortgage knowledge will allow you to close deals effectively as you will liaise with mortgage specialists and advisors, clients, solicitors, underwriters, advancers and follow up on documentation to ensure seamless closings. You are flexible to work shifts between Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm.

How you'll succeed

Client engagement - Meet department objectives by delivering the best client experience on each Mortgage file. Meet department and individual funding targets by contacting clients, lawyers, business partners, and effectively close deals. Answer inquiries from clients, related to funding of their mortgage, remotely fulfill the funding requirements, maintain strong follow up with clients, business partners and handle scenarios, questions, and issues in accordance with department objectives.Relationship building - Continuously develop rapport, build relationships and trust with all clients and business partners.

You can demonstrate extensive experience in the delivery and management of CIBC Mortgage products. Strong underwriting knowledge. Strong understanding of CIBC computer applications, including COINS/CLASS, LCMS, Plexus / (AS05) Excalibur, Service Commitment and working knowledge of software packages commonly used at CIBC, i.e. Windows and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

You're fluent in French and English to support business operations outside of Quebec, Canada.
