Specialist, Relief Scheduling
The Relief Scheduling Specialist executes both enterprise and local Ops Strategies, creates data sets on relief staffing that are otherwise unavailable, and improves provider outcomes. The Specialist functions as a white-glove liaison, going above and beyond to support hospital needs while using data insights to build bridges with third-party providers. This position provides a unique opportunity to directly execute on improving the most important driver of organic revenue growth. Establishes rapport, builds and maintains effective working relationships Practices attentive and active listening Gives and receives feedback timely and appropriately Problem-Solving Adapts quickly to changing work priorities and balancing multiple projects Champions innovative ideas for continuous improvement Demonstrates the functional and technical knowledge needed for their role Makes decisions by using a combination of analysis, experience and judgment and an understanding of department and organizational impacts Continuous Improvement Responsible for achieving KPIs and Deliverables High quality level of data inputs and calculations Identification of previously unknown data quality issues Continuously examines personal effectiveness and seeks to make improvements as needed WAG Values Treats others with empathy and respect Exemplifies and role models behavior associated with WAG values Partners with team to focus on solutions Finds a way to say yes ROLE SPECIFIC TASKS: Serve as the primary point of contact and establish trusted professional relationships with hospital leaders, relief DVMs, and 3rd party partners Coordinate with Hospital Leaders and Operations Analysts to understand their contract labor needs and ensure timely fulfillment Use analytics and data insights to work with 3rd party relief partners to optimize shift and effective rates Research, record, monitor and report how your strategic decisions and workflow impact key stakeholders Translate your findings and learnings to a team to drive process improvements Become a subject matter expert on all utilized tools and platforms REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant work experience Demonstrated high work ethic Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills High level of computer literacy Strong attention to detail Self-starter with strong analytical skills Benefits Work with an organization recognized as #1 in Healthcare by Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces in 2024.
