Your Role:
MilliporeSigma is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. You will be responsible for initiating planning and setup steps for production operations. This includes batch record creation, raw material and calibration curve review, initiation of raw material testing, and issuing production orders and budgets.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate manufacturing setup, batch record creation, and production order issuance.Review calibration curves, raw material documentation, and ensure timely material testing.Monitor inventory levels, analyze trends, and determine lead times for raw materials and finished goods.Manage ordering, backorder resolution, and stock communication with internal and external teams.Plan, forecast, and track product flow, including custom projects and sales team updates.Identify and resolve scheduling constraints through collaboration with area managersLiaise with global distribution centers to maintain SAP stock levels and resolve system backorders.Ensure compliance with ISO, cGMP, and company policies; support cross-training and change control activities.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.4+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics.OR
Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or other business discipline.2+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or other business discipline.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).Excellent understanding of production and quality systems in a regulated environment.Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills.Self-motivated, team-oriented, and dependable.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent documentation skills; detail- oriented.Excellent professional and collaborative interpersonal skills.
