The Customer Experience Specialist on Stryker’s Instruments Engagement Team plays a critical role in supporting high-quality Bioskills Lab events for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders, with a specialized focus on internal programs such as Research and Development. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing event logistics, including scheduling, equipment and catering management, and day-of support. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role ensures seamless event execution by managing lab setup, instrumentation positioning, equipment reprocessing, and on-site troubleshooting. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, technical competency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences that support education, innovation, and collaboration within the organization.
This role will be on-site in Kalamazoo, MI.
What you will do:
Provide high quality on-site and in-lab support for labs and events within the Customer Experience Center, and other locations within the Instruments building. Some programs may require early starts, late end times and weekend work.Facilitate the set-up, execution and tear down of 1-4 events weekly, with daily resets.Coordinate Bioskills Lab events in partnership with internal teams to meet or exceed established event goals. Tasks include but are not limited to participate in planning calls, coordinating equipment and catering, creating print materials and providing guidance on agendas and workflows.Develop technical competency in divisional product offerings.Facilitate the sharing of information between onsite event leads and internal Stryker teams such as Facilities, Catering, Front Desk and Information Services and Security.Collaborate and maintain relationships with cross-functional Stryker teams thorough professional and timely communication, both verbal and written.Compile program and facility data to report out on utilization, highlights and business impact.Remain up to date on necessary employee safety and compliance trainings and facilitate the sharing of information to onsite participants.Understand our budgeting process and work within budgets set by event leads.Manage lab supplies inventory and make recommendations when instrumentation needs to be ordered or replenished.Assist in the development of new processes and procedures to maximize the ability to meet customer needs.Act in the best interest of Stryker, reflecting the values of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect.Travel < 5%What you will need:
