Right now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Operations Team in the position of Operations Coordinator.

Key result areas:

Building and maintaining a good operational relationship with end customers who entrust us with their supply chain management Being able to act independently with regard to the daily operational/financial tasks and customer exception handling Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to play your part in ensuring on time-in full delivery of shipments from origin to destination, with a keen focus on cost reduction Achieving the agreed margin for shipments handled Driving export related business improvements

 

Main responsibilities:

Handling FCL/LCL/Air/Truck export shipments as per customer requirements and APL Logistics Operational KPI’s Shipper booking management Consolidation – slot management with CFS Planning of equipment Booking with related service providers Shipping instructions Custom declaration process follow up System updates Invoicing- pouch Origin management

Requirements:

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in supply chain management and logistics with a good working knowledge of origin management tasks Operational experience in the logistics sector - required Excellent communication skills: fluency in Turkish and English is a must – German/Spanish/Italian/French would be a plus Experience in order management, freight forwarding, booking management Strong skills with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, with system thinking Experience in coordinating and organizing logistic processes Priority setting and sharp planning skills Customer-friendly and result-oriented person Lean thinking High teamwork skills i.e. respect, accountability, conflict resolution, open mindedness, trust, self-awareness
