Job Description

The Specialist Content Translation is responsible for translating English language content according to all relevant standards and guidelines, using target-group-specific tone and style. This position creates effective learning and development content from one spoken or written language to another.

What the role involves:

Translates English-language eLearning, instructor led training, video narration, and email communications for non-English-Speaking audiences            Conducts quality analysis of translations completed by internal staff and vendors to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of words used            Creates non-English subtitle files for use with eLearning and video content            Records and edits audio narration for non-English-speaking audiences            Provides estimated timelines for translation projects to project team, manager, and stakeholders; executes to those timelines            Participates in project activities/meetings as requested for updates/metrics/evaluation purposes            Supports translation efforts for other teams/initiatives when needed

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred in related field from a four-year college or university with 2 - 4 Years of Experience preferred            Sense of professionalism and ability to develop relationships.            Strong attention to detail.            Self-starter, sense of urgency, and works well under pressure.            Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables.            Proficient in  Microsoft Office.            Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Fluent in Italian and Frencg

Additional Requirements:            

Degree in Linguistics, Translation, or equivalent preferred            Familiarity with Computer Aided Translation (CAT) tools preferred            Basic knowledge of SharePoint site page design/development, preferred
