**Job Description:**
**Position Summary:**
This role is responsible for the vendor billing process for assigned area (i.e., vendor marketing programs, retail reset program, etc.). Maintain accurate billing records/bookkeeping to bill vendors, research and respond to questions/issues, and reconcile assigned billings and related account receivables, etc.
**Here’s what you’ll do:**
+ Maintain accurate billing records/bookkeeping, process vendor billings for assigned area (i.e., vendor marketing programs, retail reset program, etc.) and/or coordinate vendor payments in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Provide timely and accurate customer service to internal and external customers; research and respond to questions/issues related to vendor billings as appropriate, which may include, but is not limited to, bill back allowances, vendor pass through allowances, merchandising fees, reset billings, etc.
+ Reconcile assigned billings and related accounts receivables (i.e., reset billings, etc.) according to contracts to ensure compliance; follow up with vendors, customers and/or management as necessary.
+ Prepare related reports to include, but not limited to, vendor billings, payments received, outstanding payments, total vendor purchases/program rebates, etc. and provide to department management.
+ Vendor Billing/Marketing Programs - Review marketing program vendor billings to determine performance of purchasing/merchandising programs and communicate such information to cross-functional departments (purchasing, merchandising, retail, etc.) accordingly.
+ Vendor Billing/Retail Resets- Maintain contracts rates for each reset program and maintain a database of information to include schedules/due dates, fixed/flat rate per contract, customer billed, payments, vendor purchases (actual) to forecast, etc.
+ Prepare and provide related reporting of income and expenses to management as required.
+ Reconcile accounts to ensure funds are available and to maintain a successful program.
+ Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
**Here’s what you’ll need:**
+ Associate’s Degree(Preferred) inAccounting.
+ Threeyears' experiencein Accounting or Billing or equivalent combination of education or experience.
+ Experience in a retail/wholesale environment preferred.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service skills.
+ Good organization, prioritization, attention to detail and research skills.
+ General knowledge of accounting principles and accruals/accrual accounts.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
+ Experience withanotherdesktop software helpful (i.e., PeopleSoft or other financial software, Brio Query, purchasing/merchandising systems, etc.).
