Specialist, Accounts Payable

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the data entry and processing of accounts payable information. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, have accurate data entry and proofreading skills (7,000 to 11,000 kph preferred), and previous Accounts Payable experience is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Six months to one year of accounting experience

Travel: None

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Processes Accounts Payable check runs in an accurate and timely manner.Acts as general liaison between internal and external customers to assist in the resolution of account payable issues.Enters and maintains all invoices for assigned vendors.Reconciles monthly statements for assigned vendors.Processes voided checks in an accurate and timely manner.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
