Special Waste Coordinator
Special Waste Coordinator will perform tasks to include but not limited to Service Agreement File Audits, serve as member of Sales team on acquisitions, sales campaign efforts, retention calls and cold calls on existing and past customers as assigned.



 

Key Responsibilities:
• Generate revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach providing ongoing education of contract details to existing customers and the development of a mailer program in the retention of customer base as appointed. Track in TOWER & WI$HE$.
• Through the development and implementation of sound retention strategies and the use of effective negotiation skills, will minimize the impact of cancellation request and rate rollbacks on scheduled price increases.
• Work list of lost customers as appointed and do follow-up calls with them to see if they are experiencing any service issues or other issues with new provider as requested. Also, obtain customer’s current contract commitments.
• Complete Service Agreement file audits for branches as requested.
• Providing on-site TOWER and WI$HE$ training as required.
• Will organize and lead the sales campaign efforts during an acquisition or when needed by a branch. This will include service agreements needing to be signed and/or renewed.
• Temporarily fill a void when a Sales Representative is out for an extended period of time or when there is a transition. Also, work with newly hired Sales Representatives during the training process.
• Conform in all respects with applicable laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from sales representatives, managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
• Ability to create, design and implement solutions to general and customer specific problems.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Ability to self-direct various assigned initiatives and to work under limited supervision.

Physical/Mental Demands:
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and climb
• Visual Requirements: include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Possess ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:
• Travel up to 85% of the time, which may result in exposure to high vehicle traffic and extended periods of sitting.
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions of heat, cold and humidity
• Noise level is usually moderate but can become loud.
