**Date Posted:** 2025-05-28 **Country:** Singapore **Location:** 18 Bedok South Road, Singapore **Position Role Type:** Unspecified **Roles and Responsibilities:** + Develop, implement, and optimize heat treatment and plating processes for metal components. + Design and specify heat treat cycles and plating techniques based on material and performance requirements. + Monitor process parameters to ensure quality and consistency. + Troubleshoot process issues related to hardness, distortion, plating adhesion, and surface finish. + Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D teams to support manufacturing and product development. + Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AMS, ASTM, ISO) and customer specifications. + Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for process non-conformances. + Evaluate and select appropriate heat treating and plating vendors/suppliers. + Support failure analysis and metallurgical investigations. + Maintain accurate process documentation, procedures, and work instructions. + Provide technical support for audits and customer visits. + Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives. **Qualification and Education Requirements** **Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent):** + Engineering Degree preferable in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace. Education required may be waived with related work experience. **Minimum years of experience in role:** + At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the Special Process Manufacturing Industry. **Preferred Skills (if any):** + Technically competent with the ability to adapt to a changing business environment. + Good people management and leadership skills. + Effective communications skills and ability to interact with all levels. + Good coaching and mentoring skills. + Proficient in Microsoft office applications. _RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
