Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology Req Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req **Experience** 1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography Pref or 2 Years required with high school diploma Req Cath Lab experience strongly preferred **Licenses and Certifications** ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req And GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire Pref Or RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program Upon Hire Req And LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire Pref Or RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req **Here’s What You’ll Do** **Patient Care** + Prepares room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies) + Checks physician orders and exam requisitions using time-out procedures **Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing** + Adjusts technique parameters appropriately for age related factors + Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique **Equipment Operation and Maintenance** + Troubleshoots and properly documents equipment malfunction + Maintains equipment and room to sanitary standards **Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford** is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973.
