Position Summary:
Perform basic non-invasive cardiac procedures in the cardiovascular department. Performs all duties of an EKG Technician
Performs cardiac stress testing on patients with knowledge of different stress protocols
Applies Holter monitors and Event Recorders, sets up computerization of the scanner
Interacts with Cardiologist and physicians as necessary for completion of the procedure
Performs other duties as directed
Must be a Certified Cardiographic Tech (CCT) or be certification eligible (Must become certified within one year)
CPR Certification required
Experience:
Preferred- EKG or patient care experience preferred
Preferred- Associate’s degree in health related field
Medical Assistant with cardiac experience
