Banking, Lending, & Trust (BL&T) unlocks access to Wells Fargo Bank products and services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families based on needs related to banking, custom lending, and trust services. These bank specialists leverage resources, valuable research, relationships, custom solutions, and highly tuned strategies to address clients' unique needs and aspirations.

BL&T further provides guidance on a variety of banking and fiduciary topics including investment management, general trust administration, specialty trusts, custody, tax, specialty assets, regulatory, privacy, ecommerce, deposit relationship and strategy, and business strategies. The section also provides support to the WIM Diverse Segments group, including WIM referral activity.​

Trust Services Trust advisors discuss the needs of HNW and UHNW clients and provide personalized advice and wealth and asset management services, including:

• Personal trust services

• Estate services

• Philanthropic services

• Closely held asset management

• Real estate and loan asset management

• Oil, gas and mineral management

• Legacy trust services

• Special needs trust services

• Managed Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA)

In this role, you will:

Manage and develop a team of individual contributor roles with low to moderate complexity and risk in Special Needs Trust Services, promoting growth, profit management, and risk managementEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the functionAssign accounts and ensure relationships are managed according to fiduciary policies and procedures to ensure satisfactory audits and service standards are metIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Special Needs Trust Services teamDevelop new business, retain or expand current relationships and coaches on business development and develop investment strategiesReview documents, negotiate fees, and approve discretionary distributions up to appropriate amountMake decisions and resolve issues regarding objectives and operations of Fiduciary Management Services team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityProvide fiduciary oversight and answer moderately complex questions regarding trust taxability, document interpretation, and fiduciary risk managementCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managersInteract directly with external customersLead team to achieve objectivesManage allocation of people and financial resources for Fiduciary ProductsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Fiduciary Products experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of Leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree, Certified Financial Planner (tm) designation, Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisory (CTFA)Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentKnowledge and understanding of fiduciary law and federal regulationsDirect experience in drafting Special Needs Trusts, settlement trusts, planning for individuals living with special needs, and advising trustees on matters related to the administration of Special Needs Trusts. Understanding of public benefits as they relate to Special Needs Trust administration.Direct fiduciary experience administering Special Needs Trusts, Settlement Trusts, and advising on matters relating to planning for individuals living with special needs Understanding of public benefits as they relate to Special Needs Trust administrationExperience in wealth management with high-net-worth clients of at least five million dollars

Job Expectations:

Up to 25% travel

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$100,000.00 - $196,000.00
