Titles: Special Education Techer III Duration: Contract Location: Honolulu, Hawaii (96816) Job Timings: Regular business hours Pay: USD 24/hr - USD 26/hr on W2 Position summary: Special Education Teachers deliver evidence-based instruction to children and families, supporting developmental goals in natural learning environments. The role includes evaluations, direct services, team planning, and coaching caregivers, with flexibility to respond to changing early intervention needs across assigned areas. Key Responsibilities: + This position supports the implementation and delivery of services in accordance with the PSP approach to teaming, and utilizes coaching practices within natural learning environments. + It provides evidence-based special instruction services to children and their families enrolled in early intervention to enhance the overall development of the child. + Your major duty is functioning as the subject matter expert, providing special instruction and support, including but not limited to: 15% developmental evaluations and discipline-specific assessments; 50% direct services, providing support in the role of a PSP or consultant using coaching practices with parents/caregivers and other team members; utilizing and sharing developmentally appropriate activities and strategies in all areas of development to address outcomes in the IFSP; 15% planning and team meetings; 15% administration; and 5% other duties as assigned.
