Salary: $2000 / Week Special Education Teacher (K–12) Start Date: August 25, 2025 | Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, delivers high-quality educational services to students with exceptional needs from kindergarten through grade 12. This role emphasizes collaborative planning and implementation of individualized student programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial support, and consultation with general education staff. Key Responsibilities: + Provide instruction tailored to students with autism and other exceptional needs. + Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement IEPs. + Support inclusive practices and coordinate with general education teachers. + Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred). + Valid teaching certification (DE or out-of-state with reciprocity eligibility). + Preferred endorsements: LBS1, Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching. + Experience in a teaching environment (minimum one year preferred). + Must meet all health and safety requirements (CPR, TB screening, health certificate).
