Position Overview: 

Acts as classroom teacher providing support and/or monitoring all areas of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Adapts the curriculum with individual plans and instructional materials to the needs of each pupil. Evaluates student’s academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports. Promotes Inclusion opportunities for students and collaborates with general education teachers as appropriate to student needs. Maintains accurate and compliant paperwork for IEP caseload including quarterly progress reports.

Qualifications: 

Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification [Required] Bachelor’s degree [Required] IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card [Required] Ability to assess needs, develop and implement the IEP, and evaluate outcomes in specialty
