?? Barry Elementary | K–5 | 2025–2026 School Year
Amergis is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to lead an Emotional Support Special Day Class (SDC) at Barry Elementary. This full-time, in-person role supports students in grades K–5 with emotional and behavioral needs in a structured, nurturing environment.

Classroom Type: Emotional Support SDC
Caseload: 5–10 students
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday
Start Date: August 24, 2025
Contract Length: 36 weeks
Modality: In-person only
Location: Barry Elementary School
?? CompensationPay Rate: $50–$70/hour (based on experience and credentials)
?? Minimum RequirementsValid state teaching credential in Special Education
Experience working with emotional support or high-behavior needs (preferred)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Minimum age: 18 years
