Special Education Associate Teacher (Paraprofessional)

Position Overview:

Collaborate with the Lead teacher and team in supporting students with mild to moderate learning disabilities in grades 3-5. Provide detailed instruction and support students, both inside and outside the classroom, under the supervision of a Special Education Teacher. Collect data for student IEPs to monitor progress, implement accommodations and modifications, and assist with various instructional and administrative tasks. Support the creation of a positive and collaborative classroom environment, facilitating classroom discussions, and adapting instruction and assessments to meet student needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (Required) Prior experience working in schools and an understanding of Special Education principles Ability to perform a range of instructional and administrative duties while effectively multitasking
