Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Cyber Command, Chief of Staff Office. Responsibilities Serve as the senior special access program (SAP) management advisor in the U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) headquarters. Serve as the command’s focal point for SAP administration, security, coordination, and life-cycle management. Lead efforts to document command SAP workforce policies and processes. Represent the Command as a participating member of external SAP community working groups tasked to assess DoD initiatives and proposed policies and processes advising on their effect on the DoD cyber community. Participate in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities for assigned personnel. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by managing a special access program, documenting special access program policies and procedures, AND performing supervisory personnel management to assigned team members. This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
