SPEC FUNCTION AIDE- PART TIME

Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves food and beverages for a variety of hospital functions. Records information about items used for food cost accounting. Maintains meeting and boardroom pantries, and medical staff lounge in a clean and safe manner.    Responsibilities:Prepares all cold food, and occasionally hot food items for hospital special functions.  Follows standardized recipes for all food production.  Minimizes food waste. Cleans the work area prior to the end of the shift. Delivers, sets up and serves all the food for special functions.  Delivers all food items for special functions one half hour prior to the function.  Provides setup, display and table setup as required.  Provides breakdown and clean up for all functions as required. Washes and sanitizes all china and glassware used for special functions. Regularly inventories all supplies used for catered functions.  Inventories all coffee supplies used for special functions.  Maintains stock levels of china and equipment used for special functions.  Inventories all food and supplies used for special functions. Cleans and sanitizes all equipment in the medical staff lounge & galleys in which supplies & food are delivered. Follows all HACCP guidelines for food production and storage.  Adheres to hospital and department safety policies.
