The Spare Parts Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for Post Sales support of customer issue, in particular the creation and update of the Asset (Service BOM). This can include the responsibility of one or more streams of SALT Operations, such as Asset Update, Asset Creation, Asset Loopback, spare parts requested for each maintenance activity.
In the context of the Digital transformation in our Gas Services segment, this role is also required to have digital capabilities, such as applying existing code routines and develop new ones on your own.
As a Spare Parts Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Owning the management of Assets (aka Service BOM) after the machine installation, ensuring the application of the as-running changes to the internal digital twin.
Contributing to the resolution of Asset Loopback cases, i.e. defects reported by the wider Company on the Asset, reducing Cost of Quality and ensuring timely and precise Spare Parts List for maintenance activities.
Managing the attribution of the spare parts to be supplied for each maintenance activity type, for a wide range of turbomachines' technologies.
Performing deep and proactive data analytics, exploration and reporting to executive levels, supporting business decisions
Partnering with SALT Leaders to increase customer competitiveness of the quotation and loopback technical and quality improvements into the Asset.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Hold an Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred: Mechanical, Energetic, Aerospace, Mechatronics).
Possess an excellent capability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
Have knowledge of the main spare parts composing turbomachines, their conceptual functioning and their impact/need on maintenance activities.
Have demonstrable experience coding development in Python and/or Microsoft Power Platform (by order: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Share Point).
Have experience in Spare Parts management (e.g. Asset creation, Asset update, SPIR execution), although not essential
Be knowledge of the typical maintenance activities of turbomachines and their execution
