KBR is seeking a highly motivated Spacecraft Signals Analyst with SIGINT and IC experience to support characterization of signals from various payloads.  The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering or other technical discipline and will have intimate knowledge of SIGINT missions and processing of data.  The successful candidate will be able to characterize RF data and provide independent data assessments of outputs. The candidate will also have experience presenting data to decision makers and is able to work as part of a team or independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute characterization of RF signals for inclusion in automated signal databases

Evaluate collection, production, and data reporting system algorithms

Assess payload effectiveness and provide feedback to system developers

Provide initial analysis of RF data to characterize, parameterize, and provide independent data assessment for product verification

Calculate Geo-observables for input to geometric knowledge database

Perform interactive processing of off-line data input to parametric knowledge databases

Query, display, archive and playback data to gauge collection system accuracy

Compile metrics and provide performance status and reporting accuracy on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to decision makers

Assist analytic efforts to optimize the full potential of emerging system capabilities

Advance task management and allocation of to enhance collection effectiveness

Work with mission partners on various tasking strategies and data delivery options to optimize RF collection

Contribute to the development of various ways to analyze performance measurements metrics

Support capabilities experiments / exercises, systems integration, and operations performance analysis

Author presentations and background papers for middle management and executive-level meetings

Work Environment:

Location: On-site

Travel Requirements: 10-20% within the United States

Working Hours: Standard

Basic Compensation:

$128,300 - $192,400 USD annually

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Active/Current TS/SCI with Poly

Bachelors of Science degree in engineering or technical discipline

5 years experience with space/ground aerospace systems engineering

Knowledge of SIGINT collection space systems

Understanding of RF environments and space signal propagations

Desired Qualifications:

Exposure to the tasking, collection, and processing lifecycle

Masters degree in engineering discipline or systems engineering
