The ClusterManagerofSpaceOptimizationwill work closely with Director of Revenue Management, Director of Sales and Marketing and Directors of Catering & Events to ensure new Group andLocal business opportunities align with meeting space inventory strategy andeachhotel’s strategic goals\.
**What will I be doing?**
This positionwill provide business intelligence andanalyze leadsthroughunderstanding the total “health” of each groupand event,evaluating what space is left tosell, considering latestbooking trends, and reviewinghistorical performance of a particular week\.
+ Responsible for optimizing the hotel revenue stream and generating index against competing hotels in the marketplace

+ **_Supportive_** **_Functions,_** _Analyse hotel activity data and present to the Sales Team and associated groups so to assist in determining a pricing strategy and sales forecast that maximize hotel inventory and capitalize on opportunities_ _Requires_ _extensive_ _interaction_ _with_ _Director of Revenue Management,_ _Director_ _of_ _Sales_ _& Marketing_ _,_ _Director_ _\(s\)_ _of_ _Catering_ _& Events and all Group and Local Sales Managers_
+ Understand fully hotel products and operations
+ Review business plans, identify gaps and ensure proactive measures to fill to capacity and meet targets
+ Understand the competition and make recommendations to help the hotel management team respond accordingly
+ Collaborate with DORM, DOSM and DOCE\(s\) to reevaluate Sales Strategy annually \(or as needed adhoc\) and adjust group coverage targets, peak night guidance for space allocationandGRC targets
+ Interact effectively with hotel colleagues
