We are currently looking for a Space Management Ops & Int. Design Specialist in Neuchatel, Switzerland.
In this position you will be responsible to complement the space management and move operations' team taking on an expert role in interior design while reinforcing the group at operational and logistical level.
You will encompass both operational tasks as well as design activities. This will include backing-up the internal CAD expert, operating Archibus, and providing 3D design renderings to facilitate partner communication and engagement.
Play a pivotal role in enhancing the resident's workspace experience, supporting projects, and ensuring quality assurance.
Your responsibilities
Space Management/Moves
· Support the space management team in operational activities such as coordinate, collect, provide inputs, reports including the processing of requests, moves' list maintenance and follow-up on entry/exit moves to satisfy customer's expectations in accordance with PMI principles and practices. Ensure the efficient use of external resources while optimizing cost and operational effectiveness.
CAD/3D (Computer Assisted Design)
· Prepare design specifications, CAD drawings and 3D renderings.
· Assist space planning designs.
· Implementation of graphic, illustrated presentations for partner engagement purposes.
Interior Design:
· Plan the use and layout of the space and decorating with color, furniture, fixtures, to meet the customer needs.
· Research and/or Participate in selection of FF&E and color and materials for projects in coordination with other team members for presentation to clients and space planning concepts, understanding existing vendor offerings competitor’s offerings.
· Ensure all space plans and drawings comply with life/safety codes, building codes, SIA, and corporate design and space standards (PMI guidelines).
· Prepare budget, scope of work for interior design activities.
· Verify project orders, acknowledgements, and invoices for accuracy.
Quality Assurance:
· Ensure that any feedback/complaint from customer is correctly channeled, according to quality framework.
· Maintain positive client relationships throughout project.
Budget & Productivity:
· Coordinate, collect, provide inputs to offer a cost and operational efficient use of PMI assets and resources.
Continuous improvements:
· Employ your expertise to identify critical areas for improvement in workplace design, wellbeing and recommendations for operational finesse.
· Foster a culture of innovation and excellence by proposing initiatives that address needs, weaknesses, and emerging issues.
We’re looking for someone with
· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design with 3+ years of experience as an interior designer with experience of at least 2 years focused in space management and office design
· Experience in Interior design using CAD, preferably AutoCad
· Experience in space management and office design
· Knowledge of a facility management system, preferably Archibus
· Experienced in handling logistical activities at operational level
· Skilled in using Microsoft Office, scheduling, project & database management
· Expert computer skills to include Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) required
· 3D Rendering skills are mandatory
· Working knowledge of code compliancy as it relates to SIA and Life Safety in relation to planning and documentation
· Proficiency in English and French is an asset
