Job DescriptionThe Spa Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to spa therapists and wellness staff, ensuring consistent service standards, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining brand guidelines. This role focuses on skill development, product knowledge, and professional growth of the spa team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for spa and wellness staff.
Ensure all therapists are trained in treatments, techniques, hygiene, and safety protocols.
Maintain and update training manuals in line with brand standards.
Conduct regular skills assessments and provide feedback for improvement.
Train staff on product knowledge, retail sales, and customer service excellence.
Monitor treatment quality to ensure compliance with LQA and guest satisfaction standards.
Coordinate with spa management on new service launches and treatment updates.
Mentor and support team members in professional development.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of spa or wellness industry experience, with at least 1–2 years in a trainer or senior therapist role.
Strong knowledge of massage techniques, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
Certified in spa therapy or wellness programs; training certification is an advantage.
Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Flexible, culturally sensitive, and guest-focused approach.
