Spa & Fitness Center Manager

· The efficient and smooth running ofthe department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies andbrand standards, whilst meetingemployee, guest and owner expectations.

· Responsible to manage the department as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction consistent with hotel and Hyatt International standards, through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Spa operation and administration.

· Responsible to provide hands on support and guidance and ensure services provided are in accordance with the approved Spa brand standards of performance and sequences of service by providing excellent customer experience to guests and to ensure that they leave the spa feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and praising our service and team. You will also be responsible to ensure the discerning guests feel that their every need is anticipated and they have created a relationship with the spa, not just a visit.

· Managing Spa Fitness staff, creating, training and managing staff schedules.

· Maintaining a safe, well maintained and clean work environment.

· Ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and preventive maintenance is done.

· Adhering to local health and safety regulations.

· The preparation and regular update of the Departmental Budget ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.

· 8 – 10 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry in at least 2 different countries (preferably Asia or Middle East)

· Experienced in international Spa and Health therapy, eventually dietary and holistic health are part of a complete Spa treatment

· Prior experience in managing a well attended hotel and members gym

· Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must

· excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Experience as Head Therapist would be an asset.

· Ideally with a relevant university degree or diploma in Leisure or Spa management.

· 8 – 10 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry in at least 2 different countries (preferably Asia or Middle East)
