Kforce has a client in Wilmington, MA that is seeking a Sox Manager to lead and manage their (SOX) compliance program. This role is responsible for overseeing internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), ensuring compliance with SOX requirements, and partnering with cross-functional teams to strengthen our control environment. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of the SOX compliance program * Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of testing and remediation * Evaluate and document internal controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements * Develop and maintain process documentation, risk control matrices, and flowcharts * Provide guidance and training to process owners on SOX compliance and internal control best practices * Monitor changes in business processes and assess their impact on internal controls * Track and report on remediation efforts for control deficiencies
