SowLogic Production Coordinator
Location: Southern Georgia (must reside in southern GA)
Position Type: Full-Time
Travel Required: Yes – Regular travel to greenhouses in Florida, Georgia, and Indiana
Purpose and Summary Statement
The SowLogic Production Coordinator supports SowLogic’s plant production and sales programs by monitoring plant production at partner greenhouses, ensuring accurate data tracking for usability percentages and plant quantities, and verifying plant availability and quality. This role plays a key part in maintaining optimal inventory and supporting sales and operations teams with timely information and recommendations.
Essential Job Functions
Conduct weekly inspections of SowLogic plant production across partner greenhouses in Florida, Georgia, and Indiana Accurately record seeding dates, plant quantities, germination percentages, and seedling quality into SowLogic’s operating system Monitor and verify the quality and quantity of sowings across all greenhouse partners Identify and report any issues or concerns related to plant health, inventory, or production efficiency Track overall production to identify shortages or overages; provide timely reporting to support supply-demand planning Make recommendations for rolling plants between opportunity production to optimize inventory shelf life Provide loading instructions to greenhouse partners for SPOT orders Support sales team by providing updates on plant availability and quality Assist in establishing and evaluating plant trials Oversee scheduling for small grower plant orders Help write and manage SPOT orders Collaborate with the SowLogic Operations Team to share order-related information as neededRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Agriculture, or related field, or equivalent practical experience Solid computer skills and familiarity with data entry systems Strong observational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Experience in the vegetable crop or seed industry is a plus Knowledge of greenhouse production processes is preferred Must be capable of working in temperature extremes, both in hot and cold environmentsWhy Join Seedway’s SowLogic Program?
