**Job Title: EVS Technician** **Job Description** As an EVS Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of non-occupied patient rooms. Each room requires deep cleaning, including making the bed, flipping the mattress, and thoroughly disinfecting the entire space. You will also manage linens, placing them in a large, heavy bag for disposal. Additionally, you will clean isolation rooms, adhering to strict safety protocols, which include wearing a full gown and mask. Your role is crucial in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. **Responsibilities** + Clean and disinfect non-occupied patient rooms thoroughly. + Make beds and flip mattresses as part of the cleaning process. + Manage and dispose of linens in large, heavy bags. + Clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures, including mopping and disinfecting. + Wear full gown and mask when cleaning isolation rooms. + Interact with patients, nurses, doctors, and housekeeping team, providing excellent customer service. **Essential Skills** + Strong attendance record. + Punctuality and reliability. + Excellent communication skills. + Customer service skills, especially in challenging situations. + Ability to lift 50lbs and push 200lbs. + 6 months of previous cleaning/housekeeping experience in a hospital or hotel setting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Direct experience in hospitals is a plus. **Why Work Here?** This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to a clean and safe hospital environment.
