The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is a colorful Garden Island with all the charm and intimacy of a traditional Maldivian Village. Located just 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport, the island’s accommodations, restaurants and recreational facilities are all close at hand, arranged around a beautiful central promenade lined with borders of bougainvillea, frangipani and hibiscus flowers.

A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort.

What you will do:

Lead and motivate a skilled kitchen team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Coach, train, and support the career development of team members while upholding company values.Organize and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and high-quality output.Develop innovative menus and dishes, maintaining presentation standards and recipe documentation.Monitor food quality, portioning, temperature, and visual appeal to ensure consistent excellence.Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and grooming standards across the department.Prepare forecasts and plans, and manage budgets effectively to meet financial goals.Interact personally with guests to create memorable dining experiences and accommodate special requests.Maintain accurate departmental records, including scheduling and leave planning.Deliver timely performance feedback, conduct team briefings, and participate in interdepartmental meetings.Support the team during busy periods and maintain a clean, safe, and well-equipped work environment.Collaborate with stewarding and purchasing teams to ensure optimal hygiene and ingredient quality.Perform pre- and post-service checks and assist in cost analysis and menu pricing.Carry out additional duties as assigned to support overall operational success.

What you bring:

4–5 years of kitchen leadership experience in a luxury hotel or resortStrong foundation in global cuisines and culinary techniquesProven leadership skills with a growth mindsetFluent in English with solid math and analytical abilitiesCreative, business-savvy, and passionate about food and wine

Schedule & Hours:
