Job Description
We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to join our Holborn Dining Room Kitchen team at Rosewood London. The Sous Chef reports directly to the Senior Sous Chef and is responsible for all culinary areas of Holborn Dining Room.
Key expectations of this roleObserving methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner. Maximising the effectiveness of associates by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and mentoringConsistently maintains established standards across the department through leading by example and quality control.Effectively managing a section and running the service in the absence of the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef.
ProfileThe ability to demonstrate leading and developing people effectively.Proven culinary skills in a high volume, upscale brasserie restaurant environment.The ability to build strong relationships with the floor team of Holborn Dining Room.
