ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERALL ROLE

The Sourcing and Vendor Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process of new vendors for the company. This position acts as the main point of contact and facilitator between internal teams and vendors, ensuring efficient integration in compliance with company policies.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles and Responsibilities:Comprehensively manage the vendor onboarding process from initial identification to complete integration into company systems.Provide specialized guidance and continuous support to internal account teams regarding vendor onboarding procedures.Guide new vendors throughout the entire process, addressing inquiries and facilitating the submission of required documentation.Verify vendor compliance with legal, fiscal, and compliance requirements.Coordinate with finance, legal, and operations departments to ensure all aspects of onboarding are properly completed.Maintain updated vendor databases and associated documentation.Identify improvement opportunities in the onboarding process and propose solutions to optimize time and resources.Create onboarding guides to facilitate knowledge and development of the process not only for the internal team but also for vendorsPrepare status reports on the progress of onboarding processes for management.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:  KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management positions.Solid knowledge of corporate onboarding processes and vendor lifecycle management.Excellent communication skills and ability to establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Detail-oriented with capacity to manage multiple processes simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with IT tools and vendor management systems.

Ability to work autonomously and proactively.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Results-driven with strong internal customer service orientation.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.Experience in continuous process improvement.
