SOURCING RECRUITER

Weatherford have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sourcing Recruiter to join the Team in Houston.  The Sourcing Recruiter is an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team within the Global Human Resources Function. The Sourcing Recruiter will be responsible for talent delivery for experienced hire positions across operations, technical, and support functions. Through close collaboration with TA Leadership, HR Leadership, Global and Geozone HR Business Partners, and other HR COEs, the Sourcing Recruiter serves as the embedded subject matter expert on talent acquisition best practices. The Sourcing Recruiter will develop and execute strategies to identify, attract, recruit and deliver the best available talent.  This position is based at the St James Place Office, Houston, TX and is fully office-based Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, Talent Acquisition the Sourcing Recruiter plays a pivotal role at Weatherford. The Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (TA-COE) supports recruitment across the enterprise. The Weatherford recruiting team works on-site in close collaboration with business leaders, hiring managers and HR colleagues to identify, attract, and secure top talent supporting operational and strategic workforce needs of the company. This role partners closely with business leaders across engineering, manufacturing, technical, and corporate services to execute full-cycle recruitment strategies. The successful candidate develops industry-specific knowledge, a strong understanding of leadership, corporate function and technical roles, and a creative approach to sourcing the best talent. 

This is a critical role as a trusted talent sourcing expert. The Sourcing Recruiter develops market intelligence, builds referral networks, evaluates candidates and delivers them for consideration through our selection process. This position is key as we work to identify, attract, recruit and deliver the correct profiles for all open positions. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop strategies to identify, attract, qualify and submit both active and passive candidates for high-level roles and difficult to fill jobs. Through creative posting, market research, networking and effective outreach campaigns the Sourcing Recruiter develops and cultivates pipelines of candidates. Effective screening allows the Sourcing Recruiter to submit highly qualified and engaged candidates for open roles.  The Sourcing Recruiter will collaborate with internal experts to develop a deep understanding of the roles and skill sets for organizations they support. Develops and leverages networks to build referral networks and gain access to passive candidates. The Sourcing Recruiter will be required to perform full life cycle recruiting at times based on volume and overall recruiting needs of the organization.

Experience & Education:

REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field. 5+ years of recruiting experience supporting corporate, technical and leadership roles. Experience and passion for sourcing candidates for hard to obtain profiles in competitive markets.

PREFERRED:

Recruiting experience in the energy industry with special consideration given to Oil Field Services experience.  Experience using Oracle ATS (ORC).
